Tell us a little bit about your background?

For more than seventeen years I have been thinking, creating and organizing designs that meets the necessary elements to achieve the desired objectives. I have worked in Argentina, Spain, Sweden and the Czech Republic. I designed from t-shirts to interior design. For the last ten years I am focused almost entirely to an online and interactive environment.

Today, having successfully led the Department of Production and Creativity of Mather Advertures Czech Republic, for almost two years, I continued in the agency as a creative director with my team of designers. I also work on the strategy, structure and design of applications for mobile, and web.

I am proud to work with professionals who provides day to day quality and intelligence to the projects we develop. I have also the pleasure of working with other agencies, where I can develop a little different kind of outputs and complement my activities. In all cases, the continued cooperation helps me to learn new tools, techniques, strategies and points of view.

Who are your main inspirations? / What are your influences?

I read a lot about science, philosophy, psychology, biology, essays and content related to creativity. This topics triggers my imagination and challenge my points of view. It is a good exercise to take different approach to concrete problems.

How do you keep motivated and interested?

I analize and study what is around me, applications interfaces, designs and processes. I try to learn from it and transform into solutions for my projects. I love to visit sites like behance.net, ffffound.com, some blogs in tumblr….I think motivation and interest are empowered if you follow a discipline in your daily work.

Do you have any new projects coming up that you can tell us about?

There are pretty interesting projects breathing around, but I guess the most interesting one is the store I am building at my site where I will offer posters printed in high quality and unique and original art pieces. There is also an illustration and tales book getting shaped.

What do you know about your country’s design/designers?

I actually feel that my country is not only one but three. I come from Argentina, but I worked many years in Spain and Czech Republic. In all of them, you have really high level of creativity and design.

Any words you would like to pass it to new comer designers?

Make a difference between art and design as soon as you can. It will save your soul!
